Business Manager:  Saint Patrick Parish seeks a Business Manager for the day-to-day business operations of our parish, meal center and cemetery.    

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Management 

    • Performs all financial bookkeeping functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and expenses, and reporting 

    • Manages payroll, and HR employee benefits 

    • Prepares annual reports, interim reports, and other miscellaneous reports 

    • Prepares annual budget, in coordination with Pastor and Finance Council 

    • Oversees bank deposits and reconciles monthly bank statements 

    • Oversees management of parishes’ operational and financial records

    • Processes electronic gifts to parish and meal center 

  • Attend meetings relative to the role, as necessary 

  • Some additional operational and human resources responsibilities may accompany this position. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BA/BS in business, accounting, or related field with 7+ years related experience or equivalent preferred 

  • Understand, support, and actively enhance the mission of the Catholic Church at the local level 

  • Possess the virtues necessary to handle confidential, sensitive, timely, and personal information appropriately 

  • Demonstrated experience in finance and accounting, with Intacct experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in appropriate computer technology skills; must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software 

  • Experience administering payroll necessary 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work in unity with others, and in support of the vision and mission of evangelization 

 

PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE ELEMENTS: 

  • Ability to use a computer keyboard for up to eight hours per day

  • Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
